Christmas Decoration Inspiration – The “Mantle” Garland
This is your sign that you don’t have to have the perfect fireplace mantle to have a beautiful garland decoration! Also, if you are not using command hooks to hang garland and stockings, now is the time to start. They are so easy to use and so easy to remove.
This Norfolk Pine Garland has such a realistic look and soft touch. I also absolutely love these waffle knit stockings from Target Hearth and Hand. They are the perfect size and the colors went so well with the rest of my decorations. I love the look of gold cowbells, but I needed something small for my space. These gold cowbells are very inexpensive and can be strung together to make the perfect addition to your garland.
I made this manger scene using a scroll saw, and it is one of my favorite Christmas decorations. These honeycomb Christmas trees are so simple but add so much to my tabletop. Also, the Christmas tree taper candles atop thrifted candlestick holders were just too cute for this forest scene!
Christmas Decoration Inspiration – The Tree
This 7ft Cashmere Pencil Christmas Tree is perfect if you don’t have a lot of extra space to work with, and the best part is the price!! I cannot get enough of the bows this season. They are so much easier to add to a tree than ribbon and are so beautiful! I used this dreamy 1″ velvet ribbon in the colors olive green, brown, and khaki. If you are wondering how to tie a perfect one sided bow, check out my tutorial video on Pinterest. I simply tied the bows, then stuck an ornaments hanger through the back to attach the bow onto the tree.
Also, check out my post on how I DIYed these moody, Pottery Barn inspired ornaments. They were super simple to make, and you won’t believe the transformation.
