I’m born and raised a small town Tennessee country girl. I grew up on a small beef cattle farm where I spent most of my days playing in the creek or exploring the pastures. If the sun was shining my brother and I were outside, and we loved every minute of it. Now, as a mom to a 1 year old little boy, I hope to share my love for nature, outdoors, and farm life with him. 

I am the wife of an incredibly hardworking and supportive husband. Together we love traveling, hiking, hunting, and raising our beautiful son. As a wife and mom, I strive to be the best I can be each and every day. Most days that means leaving a pile of dirty dishes in the sink to play toy trucks. 

I may be overly sentimental, but I love to get old things. Whether it is something that has been passed down from generation to generation or something I find at a local estate sale, I want to know everything about it! Who owned it first? Where did they buy it? How much did the pay for it? Or even better… Who made it? When was it built? The history of a handmade piece is so, so rich. I hope to craft handmade pieces my grandchildren and great-grandchildren will cherish forever.  

I love learning new skills and am always open to trying new things. My favorite hobbies are woodworking, crafting food from scratch, DIY decorating, and sewing. I love to find beautiful pieces in home decor store, then try to make them myself for a fraction of the price.
